As long as they see the title. Of course, it doesn't seem like anyone sees the title "Welcome, please read!", or if they do they ignore it, so you may be right in that it's a futile exercise.

I'll second Paradoks' suggestion though. You could change the title to whatever problem is the worst on the forum at the moment, so one week it'd be "Don't post Witcher 2 threads in the general forum" and the next week it could be "No, we don't have the rights to System Shock 2, we'll let you know when we do!" :-D

Oh, yeah. I should change that back. I was gifting some press contacts TW2 and didn't want GOG.com to pay for the FPP for the press copies, too. :P

[[EDIT: But I am happy to say that I've just found a billion dollars in oil money. Apparently none of those emails are scams after all, which makes me feel bad for all those rich Nigerians who are trying to give me their money. :P ]]
