All 20 correct, but I answered 20 minutes after the deadline.
Also, from the previous "steaming" contest:
adambiser: #2
- B and D can't be functions because of y^2. For a function, each x goes to a unique y. With y^2, y can be a positive or negative number and give the same result.
- I'm not sure about why A is not, I'm assuming because of the extra value in the range.
- C has each domain value going to exactly one range value and multiple domain values going to the same range value is OK. Since C was definite, I went with it.
It depends on which definition of "range" is being used. If "range" means "codomain", then both A and C should be functions. If "range" means "image", then only C is a function. - B and D can't be functions because of y^2. For a function, each x goes to a unique y.
