Seriously though, Intel does have the technological advantage too now. That being said, given their past history I should really just boycott them. I would too, if I had any interest in putting together desktop rigs. Unfortunately for AMD I don't like having the big boxes around and so I'm a laptop man all the way. And the new Core i7 mobile series just can't be beat.
I do however go for laptops with AMD based graphics cards. They're the best, no question.

I have an AM2+ socket on my motherboard. I was wondering if it was worth going the extra mile with my next upgrade and getting an i7. Now I'm definitely getting a Phenom 2. No question about it.
