It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

So, after a humongous amount of peer pressure, I gave up and made the damned account in facebook. Yay.

But apparently it has games. I have very little experience with browser games, let alone the ones in facebook. Are there any decent ones, or are they all just garbage?

Depends what you call games. If you mean stuff you play for 5 minutes then forget about for the rest of the day, yeah there are some good ones. If you mean real games as in gaming, no there's no real game on facebook.
From what I could see, Facebook games are designed to hook you into staying as long as possible logged into that thing ( = revenue for Facebook) , to spread the "need" to play them with you to your "friends" ( sectarian behaviour) and to lure you into spending real money for virtual "gold", "gems", wathever ... in other words, a snake offers you an apple, is it poison or is it really tasty. My 50 cents.
First off, I don't like Facebook and/or social media much.
Second, I think there are some pretty decent 5-15 minute games on Facebook.
The annoying thing is most of them are (on Facebook) extremely social media savvy and you can't play them unless you involve other people on Facebook (such as Farmville).
I personally don't like that, for example I played a cute little game once that had you clear dungeons in a sort of DigDug style to make money to upgrade your town. Unfortunately after several dungeons I had to invite a friend over to my town to continue.
And most of the games involve micro-transactions which is also terrible.
But if you love the whole social media aspect of it I'm sure there are some pretty decent games.
Unfortunately, I can't really recommend any since I only played a couple and forget the names :P
So uh.. Farmville 2!
Do not play Candy Crush Sage. That game is pure evil! EVIL!

...I'm not really sure about other games since I've had little exposure to those games (just Farmville and Candy Crush Saga), but I'd say that the majority (if not all) of the games on Facebook are mediocre time wasters.

I played "kingdoms of camelot " for about a year . You had to be in an alliance or you just got destroyed by griefers. The alliance I was in was cool for a while until the in-fighting started - and it was SO pay-to-win oriented at the end that I quit. I don't play any FB games now.

There is one made after King's Bounty that apparently doesn't suck ass. Or so I've heard...
Wasn't there supposed to be a fb game of Evil Genius? Or have I been daydreaming?

Likely not yet, but said to be released "later this year".

The only "game" I play is "Margaritaville", and that's only because I'm a Buffett fan. But I don't touch it for long periods of time because it's really nothing but doing the same things over and over, and accumulating gold takes forever. Hell, I even created fake people to be "friends" to add to the game, because apparently I can't have a full band without "friends"!

But I've grown pretty tired of it and if I never touch it again, it won't kill me.
They're pretty much all garbage. All you do is click on stuff then spend tonnes of money so you can click on the same stuff quicker.

I hope the samething does not happen to me. Now that I am in College again the chances are higher.

That was my experience with KoC as well. Actually, I'd say it sums up every FB game I've checked out. They ALL require you to join alliances/invite friends...but if you really want to get anywhere you also need to spend $. I do words with friends still..but that's about it.
Social games are all crap, there's some decent non-social games on Facebook, though. Robot Unicorn Attack is fun.
You Don't Know Jack and Chronoblade are probably the only good Facebook games out there.
