There were some great shows back in those days. Not sure if the UK produces any animated shows anymore. They also got some fantastic voice talent. Bananaman had the Goodies (with a pre-badger worrying Bill Oddie), Superted had Jon Pertwee, Melvyn Hayes and Roy Kinnear. Dangermouse had David Jason and Terry Scott and Trap Door had Willie Rushton.

My god what is wrong with me, you've only gone and got me all misty eyed. I actually almost uttered the immortal words "those were the days..." and "they don't make them like they used to."
The odd thing is i'm only 24 and caught most of these shows via re-runs when I was kid rather than the original runs, which just goes to show that I've been into "Good Old..." stuff since I was a nipper.
