OK - we have just over 12 hours left.

Theres been a lot of talk about lurking, which I have vociferously been against over the xmas period, but everyone should have been back on it since the 3rd, and we've heard nothing from Crazybear at all.

Like others, I'm not overly impressed with Stuart and his defence, but I'd much rather lynch someone who isn't participating on day 1 than someone who is at least contributing.

Theres time yet for him to post, but the hours are running out. I will be monitoring the thread all today, and if we hear nothing from Crazybear, will be voting for him. I want to give him every chance though, which is why I'm not voting for him immediately.

Because if it's dissappearing completely as opposed to aggressive lurking then I'm just remembering that game #7 where Zchinque dissappeared. It's difficult to know what to do in that situation.
But I suppose with the day ending in eleven hours and thirty minutes, seeing as we should lynch someone, lynching the dissappeared person might be preferable to waiting around for a maybe-replacement...

In case I'm not back before the deadline, I'm going to go ahead and unvote, and vote Crazybear for sheer absenteeism. I'll try to check back later for a response, but I'm not hopeful.

Stuart does seem to have accepted been lynched is inevitable. Which is a shame as at least he's been active unlike others.

Find Orryyrro's reaction interesting. As after Zchinque and Muttly called him on not posting anything relevant to the game he voted for Stuart. Now that bandwagon has stalled he's voted for Crazybear. Could it be a case of lynching anyone but him is fine, which doesn't seem very townish.

It looks like we're not going to get a proper discussion before the deadline. Orryyrro and Crazybear have three votes each, Stuart has five.

I'm thinking maybe it's easiest to lynch crazybear even if he has vanished. Replacements make it all annoying. I suppose it's a sort of fair chance, this would never be an informed lynch.
I'll check back in an hour and see what other people think. I'm pretty desperate not to let this day end without a lynch.

Agree we shouldn't let the day end in a no lynch. Am in favour of lynching a lurker so would move my vote to Crazybear.

What make replacements annoying?

The later they get replaced the more difficult it is for them, when you want to say "so what did you mean by post 36 when you said 'I'm mafia I'm mafia lynch me before I murder you all'?" and they say "I don't know because I wasn't playing this role then."
And then you just feel mean lynching them for something their predecessor did and it's all just blah blah blah
