In case you are like me and skip some of the Updates from the games you backed on Kickstarter you might miss this nice announcement from inXile.

They are giving away free codes for Bard's Tale (2004 & originals). You can see the update over here:

Goddamn it, I'm being bombarded with free games! Help me! O_o
Woo, sweet. Thanks for the link, I'm a post-Kickstarter backer so I probably wouldn't have noticed.

EDIT: Or maybe it's only for KS backers, I'm not getting anything in my account tab. Oh well.

Does anyone know, that if i prepurchase Wasteland2 from their webpage (paypal), in what forms i will eventually get the game?

"DRM free" is kinda vague to me :/ Something of their own? GoG? Steam as well? No idea?
cool thanks for the heads up
Damnit. I should have backed Wasteland 2. I'd kill for a reliable, legal way to get the originals. :/

EDIT: The post looks like it says it's just the 2004 version?

I believe they recently added the original trilogy to the Steam version of the new one.

I'd trade you my key (already bought two previously) for a cheap GOG.

I be broke, or I'd just buy it on Steam myself, heh, being only around $10 and probably going to be $5 or less during Steam sales.

Apple versions. Apple II in the worst case. The emulator is integrated into Bard's Tale 2004, the floppy image archives are password-protected.
At least they didn't email the key for me, so now all I have to do to decline the offer is just not visit the Ranger Portal for a while.

If you don't want the game you can visit the Ranger Center just fine. You need to press a button and request a key, you don't get issued one automatically. Besides there are people who'd like a key, like johnki, so you could always give it away.
