I saw some old posts about early C&C games being free, is it still possible to get some of them? I was hoping someone would be able to drop a link to a legit site with the games that are free for download.

I couldn't find anything on the official C&C website, but there are EA mirror links and they still work, so I hope it's still legit.

It's legit. They made them freeware as part of a big release bash for C&C4.
Here is another link if that one doesn't work that also has the links for Tiberium Dawn.

You will need some blank cds to mount the games, atleast you did when they started the giveaway.
