I just read up a little on the Windows 7 compatibility of a lot of the games on the site and a lot of the complaints were about the games not working in Games Explorer. And I certainly can confirm this. However I must admit I don't really care about it since I basically think it sucks anyway. Instead I'm currently using D-fend Reloaded. It's actually a DosBox frontend but it can also load Windows games and SCUMMVM games.
I use RocketDock and KKMenu to make fold-out menus of all my games and apps.
Pros:
- I can arrange my shortcuts any way I like.
- Everything is available in a handy fold-out menu at the top of my screen.
- I can split stuff into different categories so I don't have to scroll through a massive list to find anything.
Cons:
- It's somewhat complicated to set up.
- I have to manually move my shortcuts into the folder structure used to generate the menus.
I'm fond of it personally, but GE Editor is needed: http://gameeditor.webnode.com/
