I do not know where I am supposed to post for the wish list. But here is my list. Finally a place i can get my face old games, that will work on my pc, AND BE ABLE TO PAY FOR THEM. I use to use torrents. Because where else am I going to find Populous. Which I did not know you had TILL TODAY. I will def be getting that in a few days. But I do not know where to post my wishlist for the site. So I guess here goes.

Magic the gathering, Duels of the planeswalkers. I am not talking about the new one. I mean the old micropros version, that was made in the 90's and has shandlar.

The Sims
The sims 2
Arcane <not sure the full name, But you walked around in dungions, and used cards, and such. It was a really old game,

DOOM
QUAKE
Diablo 2
Cats
Chess master
Atlantis

Some of these games may very well be on the site, as we speak. I am new to the site. I had gotten a few old games, that I could not find a legal way. Noticed that they where all from something, called GOG. So I checked it out. I have since deleted all my old torrents, so that I could get them legally.
The community wishlist can be found here: http://www.gog.com/wishlist

You can vote on existing entries there or add new ones if they aren't already present (please don't add duplicates though). Cheers. :)

Also, it's good of you to obtain these games legally. It encourages sites like GOG to exist and continue to bring us up-to-date and functional classic titles.

wigwiggle: Diablo 2
You can buy Diablo 2, along with other older Blizzard games, from the battle.net store. And they're DRM-free too. Also, if you've owned them legally at one point, you can just redeem the serial key on the site, and get the game without actually spending extra money.
There is an area under the "Support" section for making official game wishlist requests to GOG where other GOG members can up-vote the titles as well. Of course there is no guarantee they'll ever actually get any of the games in there, but rather it acts as a way to gauge interest I imagine so it is still useful. Nothing wrong with posting wishes in the forums either though!

Yeah, GOG is fantastic for finding legal copies of old games that would be next to impossible to find nowadays, plus with the added bonus that they've been updated and tweaked to run on modern versions of Windows, and often include all sorts of expansion packs and other content that would cost extra normally.

"Atlantis" as well as its sequels "Atlantis 2" and "Atlantis 3" are available on GOG currently. Is Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura perhaps the game you were looking for by reference to "Arcane"? It appears to be a card based RPG. I believe Chessmaster 2000 used to be available on GOG but got removed from the store at some point (unknown reason). I don't think any of the other games you mentioned are currently available, but many of them have Wishlist entries in the support forum that you could go add your vote to. I've voted for several of these already also. ;o)

If you go to the "Browse Games" page, there is a widget you can click on to sort games alphabetically, which makes it much easier for scrolling through the entire list to find a specific game. Also, you can start typing part of the name of a game into the little search filter box and it will cull the list to things that match what you've typed so far - a very very useful feature. ;o)

Hope this helps and welcome to GOG!

Indeed! I'd much rather pay a small price for DRM free games on GOG than to obtain pirated copies of the same ones, as it supports GOG trying to do the right thing, and sends a message out to game developers/distributors about how gamers want their games to be delivered and to be treated fairly. You also know you're getting the games from a trustworthy source and that they're not contaminated by viruses or other malware, and you get notified of updates if and when they're available. For the low prices GOG charges for most games (especially the sale prices!), it's just worth it IMHO. ;o)

I joined the site sometime in 2009 for the Tex Murphy freebies after a friend shared the URL with me, but I didn't really look into GOG much until I kept seeing the name pop up again and again and some other new freebies showed up. Then "DRM free" caught my eye and I read up on the site and was very impressed. In Nov 2012 I made my first purchase, and I've made about 10 purchases since then including gifts for friends. Altogether, including games I bought, the GOG freebies, and about 5-10 giveaways I won in the giveaway threads on these forums, I've now got 154 of the 538 games currently available! The 75% off deals over the holiday season were just too good to pass up! LOL

Long live GOG! ;)

There no card based over Arcanum it is a straight up RPG set in a steampunk environment. At no point I have come across do you play cards and not very often did you walk around in dungeons. So I think we can rule that one out. It would help immensely if you (the op) could provide a little more info on the Arcane game so I can locate it for you;)

Ah, thanks for the correction. The game page says "cRPG" and I misinterpreted that to be "card". :)

Crpg just mean computer Role playing game. The c is really redundant but put there to distinguish it from JRPG Japanese RPG (Manga style)

I love to hear that there is still appreciation from new members for the good old games portion of GOG. :)

Rather to distinguish it from pen & paper RPGs. To distinguish some types of CRPGs from JRPGs, there's also the W for Western (not to be confused with Wild West RPG). ;)
Yes well this was more along the lines of SNES. Lol. But this is the game I was talking about. I found it on wik. I did not realize it was a NES game. Sorry guys. :) It is an SNES games called Arcana. Google search it. And you will find it. Took me three hours to get the name right. Heh it has indeed been a long time.
