It has a very open and always interesting story. There is combat but it is only a small part of the gameplay.
It is quite simple graphically speaking but it has wonderful images and art.
I am tired of thinking about that stuff, if that makes sense ^^

As for others, i think the best were posted already, though to be fair Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy doesn't fit your bill entirely. You will have some combat in the form of some QTE
