It's Trine. They'll make two more 64-bit compatible each week. GameTap, I think you just won $5 extra a month from me...

Has Metaboli had 64-bit support for a while?

Yep.
The first one was King's Bounty in late April/ early May. Now we have a bunch of them and new ones are being added each week.

Since GameTap is owned by Metaboli now, why didn't Metaboli get on GameTap's ass sooner? Or does this sort of thing take ages to process?

Think of it like this, we tested the player for you guys ;)
I really don't know why it took so long. I'm guessing they didn't want to introduce the new player to GameTap before making sure it worked as intended on Meta. Also, they probably got a better handle on testing and bug tracking and whatnot doing it just on Meta, since GameTap probably has a much larger number of users than Meta.

OH GOODY. Now how's about fixing the browser plugin so it doesn't fail silently when launching a game.

Now we just need the same library as you guys, since from checking Metaboli it seems like you guys get all the latest titles.

Yep. And we have Anno 1404 coming soon. Can't wait for that one.
I really don't know what titles are on GameTap, but maybe once the new player setlles in over there you start getting the latest titles aswell...

It's also a shame that Gametap is so much cheaper than Mettboli if it was under a tenner i'd be tempted, I did subscribe to the essential pack a couple of years back but didn't really play enough to justify it and I was always annoyed by not being able to play the newest games.

I tried to play Psychonauts for free a while back, and I installed the Gametap plugin for Firefox, thinking "It'll probably work now, after a few months of tweaking," but NO. It never even loaded the game, no matter how long I waited. Thanks a lot Gametap, you've alienated a potential customer.

I can honestly say that i don't find the 13€ for the 'everyhting we have' pack expensive at all.
It's totally worth it considering how many games i end up playing and would never play if i had to buy them.

I know it's not that much but it's £12.95 here it's those extra couple of pounds that are putting me off, plus my massive list of unplayed GOG games.

Yeah, as far as massive lists of unplayed games go, i totally feel your pain ;)
I guess it all boils down to how much you feel you're getting from the subscription.

The Firefox plugin for GameTap works now. It didn't before, but now it's all good.
