Unvote Orry.

I do apologise, I said I was gearing up for a re-read, then the week happened and I ended up leaving my laptop at work to force myself to catch up on sleep... -_-

I'm tending to agree with the logic of lynching Rodzaju at this point, since we desperately need to clear up this mess. I'm hesitant because the last time I used this argument it was in G8, and that "tactical lynch" turned out disastrous... But this is a different game entirely, so maybe I shouldn't judge on that basis.

Rod, this is the point where you spill the beans on the other two people you have information on. Please. My vote is hovering over your head.

Yeah & as soon as I talk, it drops.

I'll give more info tomorrow, if I'm still alive....

Wow, trying to force people to keep you alive? Your scum rating just went right up to 11 ...

bazilisek: I don't really care whether you join us or don't, but do something. I haven't seen a stronger case than the one against Rod, but if you think you can come up with a better one, go ahead. If you think it indeed is the strongest case there is, well, you probably ought to do something about it, right? Passiveness won't get us anywhere at all.
You are absolutely right, and have been keeping a bit low, because, as you, I have nothing left to add today (Except that TwilightBard seems a tad weird with his last post - not wanting it all to be wine, then just going on to discuss wine and nothing else). But it's not really much to base anything on at the moment. Further, Rob's hunting on Rod can seem a bit suspect, but again, he does make some harsh hunts at times, no? :p

Based on the latest happenings, though, Rod seems very scummy to me, his last post coupled with an adamant desire to live, I just cannot see as town behaviour. Further, he keeps saying his info would get town into a massive issue, but somehow, I cannot see this being the case. His attempted roleguess on Rob makes himself seem that much more desperate to stay alive, and desperation is not something you should act in if you're town!

So, in other words:

So I'm back at L-1 again.
Just proves my point from yesterday.
Once a significant wagon starts to form, you're doomed regardless.

As I've been at L-1 twice, I can say with confidence that ALL the scum are on my wagon.
LOOK at them HARD!

OK, time for the big reveal.
One of the reasons that I'm trying so hard to stay alive is that I have a lyncher win condition.
I can't win unless at least one of the people on my list gets lynched first.

I am Universal Backup.
Each of the people on my list has a power, but twisted (as I've already mentioned with cop & doc).
If they die, regardless of lynch, nightkill, whatever, I get the straight version of that power.
So if Baz dies, I can doc.
If Angelo dies, I can cop.
If they both die, I can choose which power to use each night.
Etc....

I am now guaranteed to die tonight, even if I make it that far.
Why do you think I stressed that I have NO nightpower.
Until someone significant dies, this will remain true.

On the reasonably high chance that you don't believe me & the very slim chance that I survive the night, lynch me tomorrow.
But give me a chance to win & lynch one of my targets today.
I'd prefer Angelo, as he is basically useless to town anyway.
I do NOT believe he is scum, but he is the least town-harm lynch that will satisfy my win condition.
If he refuses to come forward, then sorry, but Unvote; Vote Baz

Didn't you say you had 4 names?

Rodzaju: But give me a chance to win & lynch one of my targets today.
Why should we help you by doing something that would harm town?

And yes, out with the rest of your information. You had 4 names.

jefequeso: Didn't you say you had 4 names?
Yes I did, but do you really want all the roles outed now?
I've played scum in previous games.
I know how much of a headache it was for me to try to guess whether town had a watcher, or a tracker, or bulletproof, or...
I think at this point it is preferable to keep the bad guys guessing.
I'm also worried that they may have a name cop.
I don't want to make their lives any easier than I have to.

My original gameplan was to convince the scum that I have info, but nothing else that would make me a priority target.

Of course, I could have just laid low for the first half of the game, but that's not my style & would have stuck out like a sore thumb to anyone who has watched or played my previous games.

Once the power roles started to drop (as they always seem to), it would give the town a significant tactical advantage if the scum didn't know that the role had been ressurected.

Rodzaju: Snip.
First drug dealer, now universal backup? Lynch all liars.

Drug dealer is my title, NOT my role.

Whether angelo dies, or I do, it's still 1 dead townie.
It would also be swapping a useless cop for what would have been a useful one.

Except we don't know who Angelo is, we do know who you are. Even if you're telling the truth then the mafia know who the cop is(you) after we kill him(Angelo). So, yes, what you suggest actively harms town.

Did it ever occur to you that if what you were saying were actually true and either me or Angelo were lynched, you would be immediately killed on the next night? With no one to protect you? So instead of one dead townie (you), we'd have two, and power roles to boot?

Once again, your claim is nonsensical and full of holes, but that was to be expected at this point, really.
