Starcraft 2 map mafia? How does it work?

Also, there really is not more people who wants to try this fabulous game? I know I am lowering my chance for being in the game but I'd like to see more new players.

Alright, signups are officially closed.

The 4 newbies (Taleroth, ViolatorX, QuadrAlien, fexen) are in automatically; from the remaining nine, random.org picked rooshandark8 who therefore joins the replacement queue. Everyone else is in.

Role PMs will be sent and the game will begin on Monday evening (European time), unless something unexpected happens.

Rules will be posted in the thread, but will not be significantly different from those of Mafia 4.

Max players for the map is 14, usually 12 or 13 will do the work. The game is pretty fast and lasts about 20 mins each.
At first host sets the game up and chooses settings and roles.
Role list:
-for mafia: Godfather, Mafioso, Consigliere, Consort, Framer, Janitor, also can be Random Mafia
-for town: Sheriff, Investigator, Doctor, Vigilante, Escort, Spy, Mason, Citizen and also random
-neutral: Serial Killer, Survivor, Arsonist, Witch, Jester and random
Once roles are set, the players can choose their unique names and they get a random color and a random class.
Game consists of Night and Day, at night classes use their skills, at day everyone can chat and vote for lynching.
Before someone dies, he can type a lastwill which will be revealed to everyone after that person dies (along with it's role).
If you got Sc2, go and try it for yourself.

Ah, just see if you can get him into one of these Starcraft variations Verek's been mentioning and hope his randomly selected class makes him a Zerg Roosh...

I'm afraid so - still, there was mention back in post #10 of Mafia #6 being opened for sign-ups shortly, so perhaps keep an eye out for that one.

By the way, Mod - the last chap to join is called "fexen" and not just "exen" surely?

Yep, too late. I have to abide by my own rules. But keep an eye open for Mafia 6, as QuadrAlien said -- it shouldn't be long before that one opens. Ubivis will be the mod.

If he really, really wants to go and give the game a shot, I'd be happy to step aside too (for a newbie who's never played before), just let me know and stuff before roles are sent out.

Or hm, we can Hydra a spot or something. (Where two people play under 1 spot with no additional knowledge other than what the 1 person in that slot normally would have, and use a QT or PMs or something to communicate with each other, usually as a learning thing.)
