Fenixp has very generously decided to donate a second game for a second social experiment. So, don't thank me, thank him instead :)
Basically, this is another attempt to see how far you will go to donate the game. However, the rules this time are slightly different. One of the main aims of this is to see how well you know your community, and whom you think is a "better friend" on the forums.
For starters, you have to post who you want to donate the game to, and why he deserves it (similar to the previous social experiment). This means that if I call out the next person, and the person does not respond, I get the game. So it goes like this:
lowyhong: Weclock deserves the game, because he invented Wecrolling.
Then, Weclock must respond within the next 6 hours.
Weclock: *chooses a random person eg. Fenixp* Fenixp deserves the game because...
And this goes on. So, technically, the next person actually "has" the free game already, but in a way, you are actually donating it to another person. Of course, whoever you choose has to be an active participant in the GOG General forums, preferably with a rep of over 10. This is going to be up to Fenixp's and my discretion.
So, to summarize, here's how you play:
1) A chooses B, B chooses C, C chooses D
2) If D calls E, and E does not respond to D within 8 hours, the game belongs to D
Additional rules:
1) Like the previous experiment, have fun with the reason for the next person you're calling, but no overly random stuff like "because birds can fly". It has to be relevant to that person.
2) Within 8 hours, if there are no replies, the last one with a valid post gets it. So, make sure you don't sleep past 8 hours, and make sure you check back here often, because who knows when your name will come up :)
3) Unlike the previous social experiment, you can actually post repeatedly. So if I call Aliasalpha, and Aliasalpha calls michaelleung, and michaelleung calls cogadh, and cogadh calls Aliasalpha again, Aliasalpha can continue to call.
4) You should choose a person who is not a complete unknown on the forum, if not, you could invalidate your post, and the person above you will get the game.
====================================================
With that being said, now let's get this started.
I think the game should be donated to phanboy4, because he is a great contributor to the UGSS
