I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but has GOG.com ever considered selling gift-cards in stores like Seven Eleven, or other convenience stores that sell similar cards like Facebook Credits, Runescape, etc?

I thought this would be a fantastic way to reach the Ungogly!
It would certainly get more attention that way... which would make it slightly more valuable than going some other method. Plus the amount lost in transactions as fees (like paypal or creditcard) would be reduced... I'd support it, especially if you could recharge it and have GoG remember your card once you enter it so you don't have a long or complex checkout...

Great idea ... plus it would keep your gamer friends from buying at Steam if you gave it to them as a gift.
I would hope you could attach gift games to a card as well, so it's like here's a card with $30, and two games i got for free during holloween that i already had! (Well it's visible as an option to redeem anyways).
I think it's a great idea! My brother wanted to get me a GOG gift card for my birthday, but since GOG doesn't offer them, my brother got me Steam Wallet money, instead. I made good use of that money during the summer sale, but I'd have rather spent it HERE!
Damn fine idea, and would make that "wallet" idea a good one.
this idea is good, and would give this site a lot of attention, i.e. new customers.
Great idea. I can imagine lots of people browsing the gift card section at Target or wherever and being sold by a 'and bonus 5 free games' headline on a gift card option.

hmmm probably to make sure it's not confusing, it would have to be for new customers, otherwise people might try to take it by the literal word and buy gift cards for $5 and expecting 5 more games plus $5 they can purchase for a few cheap ones while on sale...

Of course there's an additional like 5 games you can get free on GoG if you look for them, but they won't keep giving more and more games for free with each card...
It could be done in the US but internationally it would be hard since GOG prices are in dollars

i dont see how that woudl be that hard all they have to do is mention that the gog prices are in dollars and that the prepaid card's currency will be converted to dollars

or even more simple local currency/dollar value
