Oppinions please, those are top end of my budget.

They are about the same. My preference goes to ATI, but if PhysX effects are important to you, go for the nVidia. Else ATI all the way.

I would pick Radeon. More so with the lower price.

I have Sapphire Radeon 5770, so my vote goes to it.

Advice, if you can buy another model of Sapphire, like VaporX. They offer better cooler.

MSI's 450 is a fine middle range card. Its performance is on par with a radeon 5750, except when using high (x8) AA or tesselation, for which the 450 is better, at least when combined with a recent intel CPU and under win 7. So if you need that or PhysX , go for the Geforce.

In all other cases, the 5770 is better value for money, esp. paired with an AMD CPU

Personally, I'd go with the 5770. Depends on what you're asking. If you're asking why the Vapor-X cards cost more, it's because they have a custom cooler. If you're asking why two 5770 Vapor-X cards have different prices, it could be because one is stock and the other is overclocked by the manufacturer, or that one is sold by Amazon while the other is being sold by a marketplace seller.

Nothing really is in life though is it GR, someone giving a GOG isnt truly free as it costs the other party, or you pay for it indirectly because of the charge for your net connection...

I recently purchased and installed a NVIDIA 450 GTS card made by ASUS. I really don't have any complaints with it so far. and it only cost me around $110 on Newegg.
