Now I buy indie titles mostly because of a passion for gaming than for any interest in the games, most of the titles I own on GOG I also own on steam, maybe through a humble bundle, maybe as a separate purchase.

It bugs me though when these titles don't have their soundtrack listed under the goodies here, or just have a 'sample' and sell their soundtrack as separate dlc on steam.

I don't really give a shit about the music, just not my thing, but I know a lot of people value it, and it pisses me off no end that an indie title, that has gotten my money out of goodwill and charity more than as a fair trade for quality (and let's face it, except for a couple of stand-out games most are obviously aimed at mobile release with unquestionably shallow mechanics), holding out on any reciprocity of goodwill. If fucking ubisoft can release a game drm free here with a bunch of extras, these guys have no excuse.

Keep this up indie developers, and I will not only stop buying your titles out of support, I will pirate the shit out of it and personally hand-deliver it to any of my friends I think would consider paying. We support you because you're not the same exploitative developers with day 1 DLC on the disc that just needs us to shell out again to 'unlock' it; if you become the very thing we hated in the first place, in the end you're only fucking your own arse.

Not to be a buzzkill in general but many Indie developers right now are just too cocky and full of themselves

A plethora of developers that initially was all about "Taking on the Big publishers" right now is acting the exact same way as those "Big publishers"
Chill, dude. Indies probably don't have those "you make music for us and we own it" deals with their musicians that I'd imagine bigger companies make. If the musicians own the music provided outside the game (eg. as soundtracks), GOG would have to give 'em their share, and that just sounds complicated.

It'd be nice to get them, though.
Just so you know, Primordia has the full soundtrack, all 44 tracks and a high-res cover. And art. And a couple wallpapers in different sizes. And a recording of a VO session. *WINK WINK*

(It's also on Greenlight, so do your duty.)

inb4 title change
Hmmm, what do you think the new title will be?

I'd go with "Greedy funky indie titles shirking their soundtracks" :P

And yeah, it would be nice if they would give the soundtrack also.
Many indies only license music, and do not own it. They CANT give the music away.

Also, very good logic there - "Damed indie developer can't afford having their own musicians, however if I pirate the games in then they will learn"....

Second also, not getting a bonus is something to get angry about? Blimey, talk about being spoiled.

Third also, mind your language, young man, it do not hurt to be polite. Your OP just come across as an long angry rant and is easily dismissed.
I think this may be a copyright issue but I do agree that many of us buy indies to support the devs and not so much for the actual game and as such if we begin to feel that they are simply pissing on us or is trying to milk us for every cent we make, then we will simply stop supporting indies - don't bite the hand that feeds you and for God sake don't eat yellow snow.

I agree with this statement.
Not that I care what you spend your money on, or why (for the game, just as developer support, etc), but I would like to point out that when you buy something your sending a signal that the product in question is in demand by the market. I.e., buying games that you feel are not quality or not worth playing is sending a signal that that type of game is wanted. I'm just suggesting that you buy based on what you want and not for purposes of support (and then complain when they don't produce what you want).
"How dare you not give me free stuff, I'll pirate your game and then you'll see!"
Have noticed also the growing number of indies doing the give sample/demo tracks with game through Gog and giving the full soundtrack when the game is on Steam. Kinda sucks actually.

Isn't the full soundtrack extra cost, like with FTL? Yup, you can get the game for 10 bucks or the game + soundtrack for $14. I'd say maybe GOG should start doing something like this, now that game music is the same quality as movie scores (unless that sets a bad precedent in general for companies to start charging for "bonus" soundtracks).

And then we wonder why more game devs and publishers don't jump aboard the No-DRM bandwagon...
