paracontra: Hi, I purchased Witcher 2 today and I started the download. It is 15gb. I used the GOG downloader. It has been downloading for half a day and I wanted to restart my computer so I pressed PAUSE on the downloader and restarted.

When it was done restarting, I opened up the GOG downloader again and nothing was in the queue. So I go on the gog website and click on it to download again, but it started at 0%. I opened the folder where it had the files and I saw that it had 6 of the 13 or so (2gb ea) files downloaded. So I deleted the "new" download from the queue and now all of the files are gone! (I pressed remove from list.) GONE!

Really? Isn't a downloader supposed to pause your download so you can resume it later? Now I have the lovely addition of it deleting the files it had already downloaded. What can I do here?

Or do I really just have to effin start all over?
Could you clarify a bit. Are you using a Windows or a Mac client?
You just hit pause, restarted the system and after re-launching the Downloader everything in your queue was gone?
After adding the game to the queue again it started from 0%, that we know. The Windows client should at this moment start verifying the files on the drive now (percentage should be going up quickly, because it threats it as a new download), did you wait a moment or deleted it from the queue right away?
Also when you clicked the remove button, did a pop up appear to inform you that removing incomplete item from the queue will also remove files from the drive as well?

Of course it should not be removed from your queue in the first place so we would be grateful if you could provide the contents of your log file to us (there's an option in the Downloader under settings for that).

Sorry for the inconvenience it have caused.
