Yesterday I was planning to do a series of gifting so I bought two games (Fahrenheit and Startopia) and i was planning to gift them to different peopel, however I made a the mistake of doing so in a single purchase, meaning that I was only provided with a single key that would activate both games for the same account. Now I would like to know if there is anyway to somehow separate these games into two keys so I can continue with my gifting.

- EDIT -
Officially calling the awesome GOG support team to the rescue.

The GOG.com support team may be able to split them for you, though you will have to send them a support ticket.
The only other way is to gift the double code to someone who has one of the two games, thus he will redeem the game he doesn't have, and leave the other game in the gift code for the other one to redeem. Since I doubt this case will be suitable for you, send support a ticket.
I wish you success with the support ticket - I guess they can separate the code in two, I even faintly remember them doing so once for someone, but it might have been a special occasion (and I don't even remember when it happened and for whom they did it) so hopefully they'll grant you your request.
well thanks of all the replies guys, thankfully the issue resolved by itself and there was no reason for official support.
And don't forget to vote for this one:

Multiple gift codes with one multiple games purchase
It's funny, I don't think there's another site where there's so much demand to make it easier to give away what is essentially "money". You'd think they'd facilitate this.

That sounds mysterious... what happened?
Nah, no mystery. This is how I solved it. I gave the code to the friend who already had Fahrenheit on his account. He activated Startopia and I gave the Fahrenheit to my other friend who didn't have it and it was all good.
