Anachronox, Deus Ex, Deus Ex: Invisible War, and the Thief series 75% off!

Here, at GOG.com, we tried to do the math and come up with an answer to one particular question that bothers the hell out of theoretical physicists and kills the holiday mood for them: how much energy would Santa need to propel his sled around the world in a single night, while it carries billions of gifts to the nice children of planet Earth. We ended up with "ZOMG! That much? Impossible!". That's how we came to the conclusion, that Santa's sled must be a very technologically advanced device. He's been using it for a while, so probably some steampunk-ish invention. Or there's the other possibility--bionically enhanced reindeer! Either way, this calls for a [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/cyberpunk___steampunk_bundle]Cyberpunk & Steampunk Bundle!

Anachronox, the amazing Sci-Fi adventure takes you to the mysterious artificial alien planet of unknown origin, that over time became a highly-populated, multi-racial city. As the noir-style detective Sly Boots you try to form a party that will uncover and put a stop to a deadly plot. All this in the form of a complex RPG with Final Fantasy-ish combat and a colorful world to explore. Yours for only $1.49!

Deus Ex: GOTY Edition is a legendary FPS/RPG hybrid in which you take on a dark conspiracy in the dystopian cyberpunk future, as the bionically enhanced agent J.C. Denton. Deus Ex2: Invisible War takes you even 20 years further into the future and lets you travel around the world to check that J.C. didn't miss any malevolent secret organizations during his mission (spoiler alert: he did). Each of those games is only $2.49 today!

Thief GOLD, Thief 2: The Metal Age, and Thief 3: The Deadly Shadows take us to a world that gradually fills with strange steampunk machinery over the years. We follow the exploits of the master-thief by the name of Garret, who could sneak into your room through the chimney right after Santa leaves and switch the gifts in your stockings for a lump of coal. Luckily, he prefers larger challenges and grander prizes. Each of his games is $2.49, today!

Normally, you would need to pay about $56 to get all those amazing Cyberpunk & Steampunk games, but today you can nab them for less than $14! You save around $42 for your next bionic implant or a new set of water arrows. Or you could, you know, use it to treat yourself to even more games out of GOG.com catalog? Most of them are now discounted by up to 50%!

AlKim: I love how Arcanum was left out of the steampunk bundle.

Gazoinks: You're right! Injustice! Injustice, I say! If it's not being saved for another promo I will be sad.
And System Shock is missing, too! Outrageous! Next thing you know, they'll offer a vampire bundle without Blood Omen, Bloodlines and Ravenloft! ;)

Argh! I only wanted Thief, but buying only those is more expensive than buying the whole bundle including Deus Ex.

Guess I'll pass up on it for the time being... that is, if I don't give in after all...
Not bad. Still needed Thief 2 & 3, only had the retail versions before (and which I cannot find).
Awww, it's another one of those sales that doesn't work if you don't want 100% of the things listed. They're all great games, but I can't justify the whole lot because I own physical copies of most of them, but the Thief games I don't have are high on my want-list. I barely missed getting back online in time for the 60% off a couple months ago, and was hoping to pick them up now but it looks like I'll have to wait for the next sale. Same thing happened with the Bullfrog sale. Wish my budget could handle more because it almost seems worth picking up an extra duplicate GOG copy of things when it's 75% off but just not quite, I know they'll just sit there and not ever be downloaded unless I end up separated from the physical copies.

One suggestion... why not make these things so that individual buys go to a lesser discount rather than the default at the time, like make it 75% if you buy all of them but 60% if you just get some? There's no reason not to wait it out for the next deal aside from impatience when it's hard-bundled this way. Yesterday's sale was much more agreeable to me.
Perfection.

Just hoping the other Eidos games like the Legacy of Kain and Tomb Raider series are lined up for respective bundles before their expiration now...

Same here. I only wanted the Thief series, but buying everything is cheaper.
I hate you GOG... I hate you, I hate you, I hate you. How's a guy supposed to control his spending habits with deals like these? You are the master manipulator. Thanks a lot.

"You own every game from this promo."

Well, we know where my aesthetic desires are focused.
Day 4 and still no purchase for myself. So far, so good.
Nice bundle, but not for me. I already own Deus Ex and Anacronox. I'd like to get Invisible War, but not at the cost of the Thief games. Thief games, while excellent (or so hear), are just not my style.
Yes! I wanted the Thief games and Deus Ex; I knew it'd pay to wait!
I was planning on skipping Thief 3 and Invisible war since they apparently don't quite live up to their predecessors but since it's there and I like to own every title in a given series it works out nicely.

Seriously though, I'm going to be repaying for this stuff well into June. Damn you GOG! Don't you know the plight of the impulsive spender!?

Yeah, I'm holding out on those until they're on a daily deal or time is about to run out on the half-off deals.

We have till December 19th for those particular titles so.... *fingers crossed*

Of course they do. That's why these sales are designed the way they are.

Willpower is for the weak!
... or something.

Gniah gniah gniah :p
I just wanted to tell you guys you're amazing for letting people keep the 75% discount if we already own part of the bundle!

I had NEVER heard of Anachronox, but it looks right up my alley. Can't wait to play it.

Deux Ex 2 est sur Patch-FR et le 1 sur traductionjeux. Google est ton ami. ;-)
EDIT: Dans les 2 cas c'est de la VOSTFR, les voix restent en angliche.
