It could very well be.
However, Steamprices lists it as €9.99.

If you're seeing:

Oops, sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request:

This item is currently unavailable in your region

Then there's no question about it. Like me, the publisher doesn't want your money.
Region restrictions are just absurd in any day and age.
It shows up for me. Huge pity if they stripped out the LAN multiplayer because this is one of those games that actually support dedicated server and not some lame join-instantly P2P.

Does anyone know if they deleted or have disabled SecuROM because that would be a huge win if you don't mind playing SP?

Maxxer: Im a big fan of sacred 2 i just popped into the news section and was not expecting anything but this is now here :o And its 50% off already making it £7.49 in the UK

Plus i believe in the US you could not get ice and blood xpack so now is the time to get it :D

Dont know if it works on win7 natively though, gonna have to check that out, It should be fixable anyway thanks to a guide from someone on here :3

Now to wait for the GoG version :3
Sacred 2 would be awesome. However, I'm still waiting on Titan Quest and it's expansion first.

Pardon me, but what's the appeal of Sacred 2? I played it for a while and came to the conclusion that it's far, far inferior to other diablo-like games. Even without all the bugs and glitches it was extremely meh.

Did a patch come along that changed the whole game?

Sacred 2 is fun, charming, and even if it is technically inferior to Titan Quest and Torchlight, it is very fun to play. It is not a good game, but it is a fun game. And it doesn't take itself seriously at all.
Character classes in it are also very fun, robot anubis with megaman arm? What?

Subjectively, hard to say. I immensely enjoy both Sacred games but I didn't enjoy Torchlight and Titan Quest. Barely enjoyed Dungeon Siege, the combat was a lackluster.

Objectively I would have to say it's because of the open world and while it's sports a rather generic fantasy world it's still somewhat different and the combat arts sure sports a cool and unique approach. There's no resource for spells, there's only cooldown. If you know how you can change the cooldown you can get it to almost none and gain some interesting combat consquences.
Thanks for the heads up. :D
Also, it's got Blind Guardian.

As in, the band Blind Guardian is in the game. As characters. And they play a concert.

It's interesting that their instruments are very powerful weapons and they sell for a few millions in later difficulties. And yes, that song fits the game perfectly.
