I am sure they thought this was okay because they were selling the game based on multiplayer, like CoD, but I don't want to play Homefront multiplayer. Also correct me if I am wrong but most of the advertising and previews focused on the singleplayer, which is odd if multiplayer was the focus.

Anyway I'll get it when it's $20.

And from what I read it's not even four or five not very interesting hours. Some when as far as calling it "Fall of Liberty" with slightly better graphics which is not exactly a good sign.

Turning Point Fall of Liberty was probably the worst FPS I have ever played... I honestly can't think of anything worse, other than maybe an indie project that never got off the ground.

Freedom Fighters was absolutely amazing. It is a travesty that a sequel hasn't been made yet. I did not understand why so many people were infuriated by the lack of a second Beyond Good and Evil until years after I finished Freedom Fighters.

Campaign is a huge letdown...it sounded awesome but aside from the first hour about, it's a fairly generic FPS. No depth and mostly shooting.

Multiplayer is decent though performance is shit for now. Feels old, though.

It seems like THQ may be in big trouble. I've heard they put a bunch of their eggs in this one basket, and the basket appears to be ruined.

From what the guys at the Gamestop by my job told me, those morons at the other Gamestop in my residence are satanists for trying to get me to preorder it. And they were right...ugh, wasn't even worth renting it.

1st of all, Freedom fighters is a ace game, And tbh im waiting for it to come on here :3 (EA :( )

But homefront is pretty good, And yes it does need a patch or 2, No one would even look at the game and actually expect the story to be over 6 hours, and dont deserve the bashing its getting for its SP, Its just like cod but better coz it actually works.

In the UK its £25 for a nice tin :D The price you would pay for any new PC game, I got my money out of it already.

This pretty much sums up why I won't be bothering with this game. Another case of extremely linear hand holding across (probably less than) 4 hours of gameplay.

I'm glad someone in the gaming press is publicly calling out developers for this kind of game design. It surprises me that so many people are willing to put up with it.
