I bought Horse Armor the day it came out. I am pretty sure it was the first DLC I was ever exposed to and I took a gamble. It was pretty shite and pointless, as everyone now knows. It was doubly pointless for me because I never even used a horse in Oblivion. The mod that puts the horse armor on all the Legion horses was alright though.

Anyway I didn't buy any more Oblivion DLC until the Knights of the Nine retail pack, which included all of them. I tried them all out then and other than Mehrune's Razor they're all pretty pointless. When I replay Oblivion I don't even bother installing any of them other than Knights of the Nine and Mehrune's Razor.

Luckily Bethesda has improved on the DLC front. Three of the five Fallout 3 DLCs were pretty good I thought, especially Point Lookout which was almost an expansion. DLC in general has improved a lot with Mass Effect 2 and Borderlands, among others, putting out quality expansion-like content.

Virama: NOOOOO!!!! THE COMPOUNDED STUPIDITY WILL DESTROY THE WORLD!
The problem isn't stupidity. Because the human race has always been like that. The problem is that stupid people have increasingly (self) destructive means at their disposal.
