How does it work when i get a DRM free game on Gamersgate? Do i get an installer to download and back up like on GOG.com, or is it more like it just downloads the game for me and i have no way to back it up? Thanks.

The site gives you a small file which acts as a downloader for the installation files, but they're encrypted initially. There is a way to back them up DRM-free, I'll PM you about it.
