Hmm, to *me*, its quite easy why your giveaway is better this week. I know adventure games have quite the fan-base but I don't like that genre. Sports/racing games are the only thing worse to me and GOG has those on promo this week too.
And yours has FTL and Defenders Quest which are two indie titles that have good word of mouth and reviews. So please count me in for FTL this week and thanks again Lou.
