Yes I did. :-) No cheats. Last time I cheated my way through when I was a kid. One thing I noticed is sometimes hits don't register. I'll prob post something up on the DBTS forum.
Just had to share. Thanks GoG!

You are a more patient man than I sir. That game's absurd controls drove me absolutely bonkers until I eventually just gave up. Maybe I'll reinstall it someday and try again.....but it isn't likely
In any case, Grats!

The million dollar question is....
Did you beat it on Champion? :)
Great job anyway man, DBTS is one of my best buys on GOG. You're right, hits sometimes don't register, but those are rare. It could also be that your enemy sometimes just shies a few inches away from your sword, therefore the hit not registering.

Thanks! :) I'm so happy.

Thank you. Yeah man, try again sometime. It is really difficult. I guess it helped that I cheated a long time ago because I knew what to do. Once you free your girl from that crystal your like, HOLY CRAP! I just beat this M****F****R! While jumping up and down. It's alot of fun and the combat is the best I've seen. You never know what will happen.

Yep, I selected it because it said Champion - default and would be the middle of the road selection or so I thought. LOL I had no idea it would be so freaking hard.
Thanks man, it was tough but awesome. :) On the hit registers, I've watched the sword pass through the enemy numerous times. It got so ridiculous I thought about quitting the game and restarting it. I'm wondering if it's because of the engine or the OS. Like the engine lags for a split second so it doesn't register the hit maybe.

Aren't you supposed to do that thing where you beg everyone to play online with you?
Good for you. Now try to beat a real game, like Capcom's Ghosts'n Goblins under MAME
With a single virtual coin, of course :-P

I beat God of War: Chains of Olympus on God difficulty. Must've died 300 times or more. Dunno if I'd have done it if you didn't eventually start getting more and more health restored after choosing Continue enough times.
EDIT: So, this game is Nintendo Hard? I accept the challenge.

I'm glad you have a favorite. I played it a long time ago in an actual arcade. I liked it so much that I got the Sega Genesis version. My buddies and I played it so much we mastered it. It's a simple game when you memorize where the computer places enemies.

Don't agree :-P The Giant Red Bats issues is still unresolved. Ie their behaviour remains a bit unpredictable and you need some luck to go onward.
Good job really.
After a lot of death. I decided to finish it with cheat, only to see the end.
It's nota a bad game, but it's not for everybody.
