I bought pretty much all the DnD games I wanted, and now... well, we have that special discount.

Do'h. I could have saved half my money. But then again, I didn't see it coming. :(

Anyone else caught off guard by this?

I'm caught without money in my PayPal...so at least you have the games :D
I have found a solution that works for me.
Every time I see a "Can't possibly refuse" promo on a game that I was perfectly happy to buy at full price, I buy it again anyway & run a giveaway!

Try that when you are unemployed...because there is not much work in your city :)

I think that waiting for games you want (in a timely manner) to go on a discount when you've no insider information on when it's going down is kind of like gambling. You stake the contents of your free time (or if you collect soundtracks, playlist) on a chance to save $4 or less :p

If you simply can't afford a game, I'm personally perfectly ok with people pirating them in that case. There is no lost sale and you can still buy the game once you have the money again.

On topic, the games I tried are worth the full price, but I will use the bundle for my digital backups.

That's a good idea. I just need to get to back to work again when I can to afford that. Of course, by that time, the promo will be over, but still, good idea.

You have an excellent point that I didn't think of. Though, I'm still waiting for Jedi Knight II to arrive and Thief Gold/Thief II to go on sale. :P
