'Cause in the oldschool classic games speech was text in a box
I'm in tight with homes at Frobozz and I've friends at PTMC
Gorion was my father (not!) and Planescape's like home to me
You can rock your Commodore or be hipster with a Spectrum
But the Good Old Games for PC? They're the best, you must respect 'em.

I was growing up with Battle Chess on a VGA PC
There was red and blue and fourteen more colors to see.
My fixes came on a floppy disk from Apogee.
The distribution was called shareware: If you like it, pay your fee.
Now I've grown old and the times have changed since then
I have access to all games in history and when
I feel like Commander Keen must another try b' given
I install a DOSBox emulator and start playing again.
