That's sad, despite not liking the Sopranos I found him a very talented actor, and a generally good person. My condolences to his family and I hope he didn't suffer when he passed. It seems fate is taking many people young lately, I mean James Gandolfini, Michael Clarke-Duncan, etc... very sad. :(

It was a heart-attack, so I suppose it was quick and relatively painless. Can't say for sure, as I never had one myself.

Yeah, but sometimes the pain can feel like hours, or so I've been told by family. I just hope it was quick and painless, I wish a long suffering experience on no one. Thank you for posting this, I'll have to inform some family members who were fans of the show that might not know about it.

RIP, very sad day though I'm not impressed...I remember back then, when we watched sopranos every day like drug adicts, we always were saying: "This guy is so fat he is going to have a heart attack before the series finale"

Very sad. Truly a great actor. Being very close to his age seems a bit sobering. He is already missed.
I heard about this on the radio while I was at work.
