Yeah, if you find one more person and are willing to wait until after the demo goes live, I may be interested. But I warn you know, there's still I chance that I won't want to buy it. It depends on whether Valve do the same thing they did with the L4D release.
Borderlands on the hand, I know for a fact I will certainly buy. But I'm not sure whether I want it on Steam as knowing Valve, they'll suddenly set the release date to some arbitrary month in 2012 for us.

For me, it's the community that is destroying the game. It's so difficult getting a full game without rage-quitters. You're almost forced to play organized games...
