I'm SOOOOO glad that that waxworks game is coming out soon. I think that is the only game gog has that counts as a horror. i actually didn't get into horror games until i bought resident evil for the gamecube. anybody got any other horror games you think gog should have and why. also, what part of this game scared you the most/made you scream radical and strum like a mad man on your air guitar.
Dark Seed series and the old Alone in the Dark series would qualify as horror.
Dark Seed especially because of the crazy H.R. Giger artwork in the game.
Alone in the Dark was pretty much the grandfather of all those survival horror games that you see nowadays.
And if you want a decent horror fix as far adventure games go, look up a freeware adventure game by the name of Prodigal.
that's why I firmly believe in the silent hill titles being released on here, they have PC ports you know.

So did some of the Resident Evil titles, if Moby Games is correct.
Silent hill is definitely King as far as "moody" horror games (the Resident Evil series falls into a different category for me, that's survival-horror) are concerned. Especially Silent Hill 2 was near perfect. Eventhough there isn't a single tough enemy in this game, I was constantly running around expecting an attack. Turning around at the slightest sound and running as soon as I saw something moving in the dust.
However, I don't think Konami is willing to toss out the Silent Hill games to GoG yet.
There are some games we need badly like the Alone in the Dark series, Clive Barker's Undying (EA tho), pc ports of resident evil, Nocturne, Shadow of the comet, Blood series, etc. Vote for them !

We need some Call of Cthulhu (spelling?) action here.....damn it!! Anything Lovecraftian is necessary around here or there will be a mass sacrifice of baby goats .......some day.

I don't know. I don't think any other medium has ever really captured the mood of Lovecraft's literature. Except maybe the old pen'n'paper Call Of Cthulhu RPG.

I can't say that I agree with you. We already see Second Sight on here, which was a console game first, granted it's Free Radical. Anyway, I believe that they may be highly interested in selling it on this platform. It looks like their online store has closed down however...
But Konami is more concerned with their brands as they reuse them over and over again. I simply don't think it would make much sense to them.
Definitely gotta have the original Alone in the Dark. Unfortunately, the original was the only entry in the series that I liked.
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth wasn't bad. It'd be a fair addition to the selection here.
I tried to play Undying a while back. I bought a new copy for $10, but I gave up on it after a few days and traded it back in. It was a fun game, but I couldn't play for more than five or ten minutes without it crashing my computer. I'd like to actually play it, but I don't trust it enough to pay for it a second time.

Yes, please! Speaking of Cyberdreams' games...I would also LOVE to see the brilliant "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" on GOG.

That was an awesome game!! Especially considering how Harlan Ellison was involved with the game (providing the voice of AM) and how closely they stuck to the original story. That game was a masterpiece in psychological horror.
Also, we could use Prisoner of Ice and SHadow of the Comet as well.

Oh, I'm really waiting for Bloodnet. It's more of a cyberpunk themed game, but with enough horror elements to keep you interested horror fans. And when RE or Silent Hill appears on GOG I'm gonna wet myself... or something. Love those games!
