Thought some of you might enjoy this tiny write up on a classic game.
Which btw still works on many modern machines.
Cheers
I bought it a couple years ago in a second hand store in Holland... Sadly it must be the only dutch only game in the whole world, so I can't play it. =(

It looks pretty awesome. A shame it must be damn hard to come across this game these days...
I bought it a week ago, found an original copy in one of the local stores, for 2 dollars : ).But I have not played it yet..just tested it.Works OK except it runs framed (in fullscreen but with black borders around the picture for some reason).
it works on modern pcs?
I've never been able to get my copy to work properly... even after trying several patches or forum suggestions. It starts and runs ok.. but you can't do several actions such as jumps and getting on the mounts. I heard some later game puzzles are bugged as well.
I replayed it not too long ago, and it still kicks ass. The group AI is still impressive and exploration has a great attention to detail, something that puts a shallow game like Oblivion to shame. It only required a bit of fiddling with the CPU speed, else it works fine with WinXP.
It depends what you mean by hard to find. If you mean stores, I guess you're out of luck because I do not think it's sold in budget version. When that happens, you can always sail the seven seas.
I liked it when I played it but it's just another shooter. The weapons are interesting but there's little to no replay value because the plot is so simple. It falls along the lines of Advent Rising and The Man Who Would Be King. Where it's artsy but just interesting enough to keep you playing. I wouldn't call it a master piece like that author did. That's kind of a stretch. But if you've got nothing to play give it a go, if you can find it for less then 20$. I've been thinking about playing it again but I choke when I see it for the crazy prices people want for it.
I gave my copy away a long time ago.
