Snickersnack: Commercial software can ship with viruses and trojans too. Isn't computing fun? :-)

Brand new computers as well...

Gremmi: Speaking of competition for GoG - MDK 1 and 2 just turned up on there.

Well, 8,99 euros price (including 10% discount) versus GOG with ~4 euros. Their "pack" would make it 14,99 euros compared to 8 euros (on that anniversary sale last week would have been 4 euros...). Lots of competition... Worse pricing, Steam DRM, basically no support... :)
welll... this is what you get with steam

I got it (the Adventure Pack, that is.) I am not as excited about Star Wars games. Most of them don't appeal to me (though Shadows of the Empire is the bee's knees!)

Konradical: 9.99$ for all,
4.99$ individually
Two Indy games.
Loom.
The Dig.
It seems like they not only noticed GoG, but they're not messing around, and are quite plainly trying to undercut them. This is getting very interesting if you ask me, I wonder if it means we won't see those game on here though. :\
Edit: Not only that, but the entire Jedi Knight series is there too. This is prime GoG material! Are we worried?

Or they're in the business to make money by selling software, like 50 billion other software stores both online and brick and mortar. Sometimes it'll be cheaper than the competition, sometimes it'll be more expensive. I don't think Steam is too worried about losing sales to stores such as this, at least not to the point of panic that they're undercutting games by a whole entire dollar!. But yes, you should be worried, they've had the id software superpak for ages, occasionally for half price on weekend deals, knowing full well those games are prime GoG material. Even at full price it's far less than 5.99 per game. Competition....um, DUH!
