Prydeless: Don't forget about TSLCRM They seem to have taken it upon themselves to finish and at a quicker rate by not being too ambitious.

Yeah, i was talking about TSLRCM in my post above yours, but i should've been more specific. Thanks for correcting that.
I'm going to bookmark that. TBH I really enjoyed KOTOR2. The biggest problem was the mess of bugs in the game and the huge amount of cut content. In fact if you didn't choose exactly the right characters to talk at exactly the right times then there are characters you will never gain enough influence with ie G0-T0. All I really want is a mod that fixes most of the bugs and gives me a proper game. Not one that spent 1/3 of the entire game on the Peragus Mining Facility.
Ill need to rebuy KOTR 2 for the mod so i can finish the game properly. It was enjoyable just rough around the edges. I didnt relize there was another project to fix the missing content thanks for the info certainly going to keep an eye on this.
Someone else picked up on this that the hype they try and use is just turning people off.
I know how you feel. It's one of the reasons why I almost never follow any preview information for games. You're less likely to get annoyed if you only keep up to date on recent releases rather than those that are still being developed, being hyped up, hinted at and so forth.
For me, unless the game actually has a price tag on it and can be purchased; I couldn't care less about it. Once it's out, then I'll look at information in the event that there is no demo.
Thus these announcements of impending announcements are just a waste of time, space, bandwidth and whatever else was required in their creation.
In fact there is only one exception right now for me, and that's Team Ico's upcoming game in the Ico universe. But in terms of information, they release very very little over here until a few months before release, so it's not too bad =)

For anyone interested in getting a DRM free boxed copy of KOTOR, along with Battlefront, Empire at War, Republic Commando and Jedi Knight 2 for £10 can do so from here. I don't know what their overseas shipping policies are though.

Damn, should have looked at alternatives rather than spending $9.99 on KOTOR on Steam. That is a great deal, even if it does cost a bit more than $9.99 anyway. (It's around $16, guys.)

Most places charge more. That's why I'm pointing out the deal while it lasts.

Yeah, it's a bit more, but has no DRM (for KOTOR. Some require the disc) and four other excellent games with it.

KOTOR is awesome, one of my favorites, although I don't know if I can wade into another RPG after wading through Gothic 3 recently... even if it is vastly superior (btw, Gothic 3, even with all the bugs fixed, HAS NO FREAKING STORYLINE).
I played it through the first time as a good guy... if I get it again I'm definitely going all out evil with HK by my side
Hmmm, KOTOR...
You know, I still have faith in that some day or other LucasArts will drop its magnificent catalog in GOG, but I don't know for how much longer I will hold myself from ruining my bank account in a Steam shopping spree.

KOTOR from this compilation also required DVD in drive. In fact, all games from this compilation do.I should know, I bought it and have all those games installed. It is the only thing that pisses me off about this compilation.Other than that it is flawless.
