BJWanlund: The one response guesses are:
GOG.com + LucasArts (and GOG has been eerily silent on the matter)
Mortimer and the Riddles of the Medallion (must be a LucasArts in-joke or something...)
Masters of Teras Kasi (impossible, unless PSN is involved in said announcement)
Yoda Stories (difficult, but not impossible)
SW: Rebellion (maybe)
Rescue on Fractalus (not too likely)
Rogue Squadron on iPhone (ehh, okay, but I was about to pull the trigger on SoMI:SE on iPhone)
Star Wars Arcade on iPhone (not terribly likely, unless LA bought the rights to the game)
Lego Howard the Duck (oh dear God... make it go away...)
Secret Origins Of The Luftwaffe or Ballblazer (not sure on this one's validity)
Willow
BJ

There was only one guess about GOG? Surprising.
I shouldn't read this topic anymore until LucasArts make the annoucement, because now I start to believe the annoucement could be GOG, and there is a great chance to be disappointed (again). :p
So they see the IGN thing saying they have 2 of the top 25 games of all time but neither TIE Fighter or Grim Fandango has been re-released yet and they've actively denied TIE?
Wonder if thats indicative of a forthcoming remake or of bad business sense
I think it will be Day of the Tentacle. In the original Monkey Island, one of the stone heads on the island was Max, hinting that LucasArts would release Sam and Max. In the enhanced version, it's been changed to a familiar-looking tentacle...

I bet they'll make a new Tie-Fighter game. Also, they only denied that it would be X-Wing, but they never said anything about Tie-Fighter or X-Wing vs. Tie-Fighter...

From the LA Twitter:
"It's not tie fighter either. Geez guys. Be more inventive!"

Yeah, isn't that surprising? I really really hope it's LucasArts + GOG. Of course, that sets me up for pure disappointment...

If it is my bank account will suddenly be empty again
I'm betting on (and really hoping for) Grim Fandango.
Day 1 purchase. Missed out on it when it first came out, but loved the demo--which is still out there.
Tim Schafer is in the news again with Brutal Legend and he wrote it, along with Monkey Island, so it would make sense to cash in on that a bit more. Not to mention putting back out a game that seems like it would stand the test of time well.

I doubt it has anything to do with GOG... they went with Steam, presumably for the DRM Steam has.
If it's another group of releases it could be anything, really. I hope it's the KotOR, since I somehow do not own them anymore and would like to play them again before the MMO launches.
More adventure games is great as well, of course.
Most of these games (despite their age) ae available in Aus.
Tellatle CEO was hinting at a DoTT remake

A DoTT remake or re-release would be awesome, but as LucasArts said several hours after the teasing annoucement: "Last hint: of all the responses, only one right guess. Poor guy doesn't even know he got it right. :)".
I really doubt that there was only one person thinking of DOTT.
How many old LucasArts games are already aviable on steam? Before we can hope LA will sell on GOG, they will try to make the most profit. So this announcement means for me only that some more games come to steam. Sadly I don't expect LA will sell on GOG for the next two years. Good for my money pocket, bad for my nostalgic feelings.
Back to the rumor, what about the old Indiana Jones adventures? Are both already on steam?
Yes both Last Crusade and Fate of Atlantis are already on Steam along with Loom.

And The Dig.
Great game.

Shalgroth: The Dig.
Great game.

One of the best ever made I think. Shows that graphic adventures didn't have to be funny to be excellent
