I recently started playing M.A.X. 2 again to see if it was really the bad game I thought at the time of it's release. So I loaded it up and started playing the typical RTS game. I began to notice something funny. The odd similarities between M.A.X. 2 and Total Annihilation. Did Chris Taylor have anything to do with M.A.X.? I'm a big fan of TA but M.A.X. 2 seems to be alot more advanced then I first thought. Issuing command states to units for instance and queuing buildings is something I don't remember from that period. Ahead of its time I guess. I was still blown away with Command & Conquer because before that we were playing Warcraft.
What I've notice so far is the maps and resource storage model seem to be similar. The rest is kind of typical RTS.
Finally got some time and did a little digging. Here's some games Chris helped out with.

I'm sure there's a bunch missing. Like Total Annihilation is another one. :-)
The Chris Taylor behind TA and Dungeon Siege is a completely different Chris Taylor to the guy who worked on Fallout.
You are Correct - Here
