Three-game pack featuring the legendary flying ace is set for release on GOG.com.
We've unearthed another bounty of historic gems with the addition of the legendary Red Baron air-combat series. Thanks to the agreement with [url=http://www.gog.com/en/search/sort/publisher/Mad%20Otter%20Games]Mad Otter Games, GOG.com is now offering the complete Red Baron series in one value-packed bundle including Red Baron, Red Baron Mission Builder and Red Baron 3D. “It's great to see Red Baron, Red Baron Mission Builder, and Red Baron 3D released together. These are great games with lots of gameplay. I hope a new generation of gamers enjoys them as much as we enjoyed making them,” shared Damon Slye, director and designer on the original Red Baron project. The Red Baron Pack is now available for only $9.99.
I look forward to giving the games of this pack a playthrough. Though I have never played any of the titles in this compilation I do enjoy flight sims immensly.
I also look forward to discovering other titles that Mad Otter may bring to the GOG table.
this is probably not a surprise, but it looks like it at one point the guys at pushbutton labs and at mad otter games used to work for dynamix
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamix
which was a studio by sierra, which was bought by activision.
obviously at one point, these two teams split from dynamix and kept the rights to publish these games.
it seems we're tip-toeing around the big shit in the pool

Does anyone know who owns the other Dynamix games? We've had Incredible Machine + Red Baron in the last week. What I'd really like to see would be Rise of The Dragon, Willy Beamish + Heart Of China.

Tribes, Tribes 2 but doubt these will ever hit gog since they are strictly online only and the official servers are no longer running.
Also, Starsiege Mech style games, and the original Homeworld as well. Now that would be nice.

Tribes and Tribes 2 have already been released as freeware and they are not dependent on "official" servers at all, people still play them online all the time.

True, but when I tried playing Tribes 2 I saw that most servers were occupied either by bots only, or a lot of bots and a handful of players. :( (plus it turns out I lost my Spinfusor/Chaingun madskillz at some time and didn't enjoy the game as much as I did all those years ago...:P)

I was never the greatest fighter, but I did get my share of mid-air shots. I was a very good capper though, and knew how to bring a flag home!
