No sign of it happening any time soon.

Lucasarts/Disney has not yet joined gog.

We can only hope, though.

vote for the Monkey Island series on the community wishlist.
The Secret of Monkey Island
Monkey Island 2 Lechuck's revenge
The Curse of Monkey Island
Escape from Monkey Island

I could be wrong about this, but there might be a chance Lucas Arts could come to GOG.com because CD Projekt is an exclusive distributor of Disney movies and video games in Poland.
You can play the originals via ScummVM for the most authentic experience. The versions on Steam are remakes but I think you can switch to the old graphics by pressing a key in game (I don't own them)

you can indeed
Really hope all the classic Lucasarts games make it here. It is depressing as hell to think of Disney just sitting on them. I got a horrible feeling that the only new Monkey Island game we'll ever see will be a Pirates of the Caribbean crossover.
Has there been any sign of the adventure games emerging from the rubble?

1 - That is just for Poland, whilst GOG supplies us all worldwide.
2 - Disney actually like to sit on things, I think personally they maybe midgets who get a sense of size by sitting on everything else so they are then very, very tall.
3 - They would not want to damage their own product sales by releasing something by someone else which might actually sell when they can just rehash Mickey into another bland ~PG rated mess.

So we can look forward to "The Secret of Mickey Island" or "Uncle Scrooge and the Gold of Atlantis" :-)
I really hope we'll see Lucas Arts games on GOG someday.

Just for the laugh I might just send Disney an email with those ideas. Will wait to see where the take it.

Lucasarts hasn't even really supported Steam much either, after a brief batch of releases in 2009. Lots of management changes in that company and now the Disney purchase... I don't think they have the stability GOG needs to make a deal yet.
