Coming 2011, the Monkey Island Movie!!!!
Entitled "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", the Monkey Island movie will star Johnny Depp as one of Guybrush Threepwood's old friends - Jack Sparrow.
And yes, that's right people - I'm being sarcastic.
Truthfully, "On Stranger Tides" is the book that inspired Ron Gilbert to add the voodoo element to his Pirates of the Caribbean inspired pirate game, Monkey Island.
