Talking about bad changes in board games, the worst I find the new Stratego pieces with cheap stickers, the old ones really looked Napoleon era, don't even want to play it anymore and Stratego was actually a game I liked, could never say that of Monopoly.
Its ok, they still sell the 1930s version for good old gamers, I have it of course, with Reichsmark and streets of Berlin.
Good. I hate anything metal related.
Monopoly is such a terrible game. There are so many games out there today which are a thousand times better than Monopoly, so it's a real shame that this ancient piece of crap is many people's first and only exposure to board gaming. It's as if everybody still played Pong today and considered it to be the pinnacle of video gaming.

Nope. The localized Danish version of Monopoly (Matador) always used differently colored cars for all the pieces, so I honestly don't give a rat's ass.

I never understood the logic (or lack thereof) behind the original pieces anyway. The gameplay consists of moving from street to street. A car seems like the obvious choice for a token.
