Yes, as the title says new Commandos game is coming. Game will be like Commandos 2 (strategy), it is great.

Yeah I read about this earlier, I hope it'll end up being good and not just an RTS or something action heavy

I have Commandos 1 sitting around somewhere. Liked what the game is, but I was rubbish at it when I had it, got as far as mission 3. The shame :|
Now that I'm more experienced with the series, I'll put this on the watch list.

This just makes me want Commandos 1 in GOG even more... :(

Commandos is definitely one of the series I'd most like to see here. Maybe even the top one now that HoMM found it's way to our shelves.
If they manage to pull off a game like Commandos 2, and not like the inferior later installments, I'm buying this new one as well.

now this is great game.
it really takes some brainaction and timing to clear all the levels.
basiccly you get some guys on the field.
a spy , a driver , the green baret , ...
first one is obviously for infiltration purposes and can dress up
second one can drive the cars and work the machinery.
the green baret is great for shooting guys and transporting corpses.
i've truly enjoyed it. favorite mission being : sink the submarines :)

Awesome news. The first Commandos was one of my favourites games back in the day.
