Hey everyone, check out the New Gaymer Survey:
www.newgaymersurvey.com
It asks questions about things like how do you play and what do you think of homosexual content in games. It's alot of fun to take.
This survey is designed to learn more about video game players. If you decide to participate, you will be asked several sets of questions asking about your opinions, your video game use, and your basic background information. The survey is targeted to people who play videogames. If you are not a video game player, do not take this survey. Additionally, this survey asks questions about sexual and gender orientation. If you are uncomfortable with this topic, do not take this survey.
For Minors: This survey is not open to or intended for minors. If you are under the age of 18, please do not click the link above.
First person to try to turn this into a gay/straight gamer argument is the official douchebag of gog. That argument has happened, and was constructive, but please don't start it again.
I'm more concerned that this is just a spambot targeting here because of our "gaymers" thread.
If so, I'd recommend not clicking the link.
No, it's real enough, and there's no personal information involved. I just took the survey.
I disagree with the phrasing of some of the questions and answers though. The same answers could be interpreted in completely different ways. When asked how important I think homosexual content in games is, I have to answer "not at all", or words to that effect. I have nothing at all against homosexuality, it just isn't for me. But in games, I don't care about it one way or the other. However, a raging homophobe would have given the exact same answer.
So I'm not sure the final results of this survey will be worth much.

A homosexual person could have given the same answer as well; however, I think they'll take that in the context of other questions you answered, such as whether homosexual content would make you not buy a game.
When it was asking how easy it was for you to find the homosexual content, there was no option saying that you didn't encounter it at all, or that it was very hard to find. I ended up hitting Very Easy for games I didn't even play, like the D&D one.

I think it stated in that question that you should only answer it provided you had actually encountered it.
Just took it, was a very good quiz IMO.
Here is a quote I left in one of the comments:
"I don't care if the game has same sex content in it as long as it is a choice or the game doesn't focus on it more than other options."
there's homosexual content in indigo prophecy (aka Fahreinheit, right?)? wow i completely missed it, or i didn't care and forgot it already.

That means you're not gay, I guess.
