Oh no, another RTS. Nothing wrong, just not my fav genre...
I feel like something more spectacular is needed. I'm waiting for that "instabuy" feeling...
I heard from many the first game was the best of the series. There are many games that are better on paper but end up being 'meh' and though I never tried this I heard plenty enough to save my $10 for now.
Man I love Empire Earth. Very tempted, but I have heard mixed things about this one. Wishlisted

Arcanum ain't doing it for you? :D
I'm on the fence on this one as well. It looks good, but I have a few games I need to finish up before getting this one.
Nice. I got EE1 already, time to get EE2.
Here's a mod for EE2: http://www.moddb.com/mods/realistic-earth

couggod: The developer listed on the page is wrong, Mad Doc Software developed Empire Earth II

True.
The official site also redirects to Activision.com now..? They were once the publisher anyway..

Well, no. Sorry. It was just a new addition to my wishlist. I have too many games for which I have no time to play. But there are a few games waiting to be released (hopefully) that will definitely make my jump of joy, and there are no RTS among them. I know, I'm just a little bit frustrated... :D
I'm reviving this thread to let the GOG staff know that the forum still bears the name "Empire Earth Gold Edition". Do you intend to change it to something like "Empire Earth Series" or "Empire Earth"? You know, like with other games series which have more than one game here.
I know, it's a very minuscule detail, but I still think it's better to be consistent in the naming of the boards ;-).
