ITS OVER

We are a couple of weeks away from 2013 AD (where are my frigging flying cars and jetpacks, anyway?), but I think we can get this started so people get their games by new year(ish)! The giveaway will close sometime in January 2013, specific day to be announced .

The rules

You need to choose two games and tell me why you want them. According to what you write I'll give you points, the more points you get, the higher the chances you are selected by the Random Gods.

The catch is that if I don't like what you are saying I'll give you negative points! I'm gonna be good and outright let you know that I don't want an essay, that's one of the things bound to net you many negative points.

You can throw a song or amusing internet video or joke for a few cheap points, but the real deal will be judging what you write, that's where possibly hundreds of points await you.

You can also just post which two games you want and nothing else. That way you'll be safe, get neither positive nor negative points and be a nobody.

7 winners will be selected and they get get to choose one of the two games they posted here in the order they get chosen by the Random Gods. If both games have already been taken by people before you, then you don't get anything! We'll have to skip to the next in line, and we will keep skipping until we get someone who chose at least one game that's still available. So choose your two games wisely.

You can change which two games you want all the way up to the moment I close the giveaway.

I think you guys didn't all understand how this will go, so here's the thing again:
The first in the list will choose ONE of the two games he wants and that is what he gets. The second will also choose ONE of the two games he wanted and so on and on. If both the games you chose have already been taken by guys that placed before you in the list then you don't get anything (yeah, sorry!), and we skip to the next guy in line. If need be we'll keep skipping until we reach someone in the list that still has a chosen game available.

I'm in for Divine Divinity and Knights of the Old Republic II. First of all what's not to love about an old school RPG? Divine Divinity goes in for a old school feeling but tries to stay unique in its own way. KOTOR 2 this game is a classic, anyone that enjoyed the Star Wars saga has a great time while playing this, personaly I think its one of the best Star Wars games out there.

Well first of all I want to thank you for this amazing giveaway I always love seeing such a nice and generous community the GOG community simply is un defeated by any other community out there.
The games I would like to try for are:

- Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines
and
- Knights of the Old Republic II

The reason why I chose those two games are simply nostalgia they just don't make such amazing games anymore , I have had so many fun times and memories with vampire the masquerade and I have always missed the game ever since I had to move and leave all my things behind this is where having a digital copy would have been great.
And for Knights of the Old Republic 2 I have actually never experienced but have always wanted to, the first game in the series was simply amazing I have spent many many hours in the world of KOTOR but I do not wish to drown you with a novel of writing, so for now I thank you again and merry Christmas and a happy new year!

The games I want are Wing Commander IV and Alpha Protocol.

The very first computer game I ever owned was Wing Commander III. I spent hours that first night getting the blasted thing to run. I played that game for days. Couldn't believe such an experience could resist. And I also used to watch that little trailer for WC4, every time I started up WC3. I wanted to play 4 so badly, but I've never been able to find a copy. I actually read the novelization of it, but it's no replacement.

Help me regain a lost dream of my childhood.

And Alpha Protocol because I've read that it's an amazing, buggy, unfinished masterpiece.

Well, I am a little depressed. I just don't seem to fit in with people and sort of feel like frankenstein's monster. So a game might just divert my attention for a bit and alleviate this feeling to an extent.

1)KOTOR 2: I played the first and it was the most stellar star wars experience ever in terms of story telling. I thought jedi knight was good but this was an even more fantastically put together experience. Never got around to playing the second cause I reckon that the game was very unfinished during that time .Now, with restored content I want to finish what I started,

2)Wing commander 4:price of freedom : The game looks interesting and awesome. I want to give it a try. I'd be happy if I just got KOTOR 2 even.

First off, thank you for the giveaway.

As for games I'm interested in, the first is the group of 4. I've had quite a bit of interest in these titles for a while, Freespace in particular. I've been trying to catch these games, but thanks to some local snafuu's I don't have any money left to pay for any extra titles until Janurary when I get my next student loan refund..

The other title I want is Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. This honestly looks like a blast, it looks fun, it looks creative, and I want to see just how much of that I can exerpience with what little I've seen from videos of others playing the title, and it would be interesting to see how my brother reacts to it as well.

All of them interesting games, but I am especially interested in Giants: Citizen Kabuto and Messiah. They are two games I where interested in when they first came out, but for one reason or another never got to play (probably money issues since I was a bit young)

2) Divine Divinity
I love this kind of RPGs and have not played this one. And honestly I just prefer gog games over steam games =)

Alpha Protocol. Well, this rpg is pretty interesting. A spy action rpg from Obsidian? It deserve a play! But I also heard that is bugged like hell, so I didn't buy it even when it was cheapest on Steam.

Vampire Bloodlines.
I played the first Vampire and it was awesome. It was a very long game and when you think that the end is near...well, you travel at our time! I didn't play many RPGs on PC, but Vampire was one of them and it was great. For a period I also wanted to buy the books from which the game is inspired by but I can't. So, if Bloodlines is good as the first one, it's simply fantastic.
