Maybe some of you remember my contest about HTML5 games? I have told you all, that Construct2 is a nice to use to create a game without writing a single line of code.

So, Construct2 has evolved and can now also export to .exe and even directly as Windows 8 game app.

Some of you were quite interested in this, so I thought I should share this with you:

Summarized:

You can use the free version of Construct2, if you don't charge for your game.
You have to create a Windows 8 Game with Construct 2 until the 14th of December (using the Windows 8 key features including Snap View, Live Tiles and Share functionality.
The game has to be accepted from Microsoft by 21st of December.

The prizes are:

1st Prize: a Windows 8 tablet, a Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia 920 and Construct 2 Business license
2nd Prize: a Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia 920 and Construct 2 Business license
3rd, 4th and 5th: Xbox 360 games bundle and Construct 2 Personal license
6th-9th: Xbox 360 games bundle
10th: Xbox 360 games bundle and a flying monkey
