wpegg: Anyway, here's a code for Baldur's gate 2:

Dragobr: Could have gotten it, but leaving for someone who hopefully may enjoy it more immediately.

Reps up for all the giveaways!
Actually, it went very fast. The winner just hasn't said yet.

Not that fast. I input the code twice before someone else got it.
Thank you, I have grabbed the code but I really don't like the look on this fellow's face. Am I in trouble?

If you're talking about the hamster, you are!

You could always make Spaham out of the hamster.

And did you know that Minsc's talk about his miniature giant space hamster is less stupid/silly than you might originally think? You see the gnomes created this specific breed of giant space hamsters in order to make them suitable as pets (or just as a mad science experiment, which one is true remains a bit unclear). And there are no clear distinguishable trait differences between a regular hamster and a miniature giant space hamster.

wpegg: Financial Burden, Pinanceal Schmurden (I'm in an adult arguing mood today). In case you guys haven't guessed, the reason I'm picking the games is because I'm choosing the ones that I think you should play. The fact two worlds was on sale was simply a bonus, it was always on the list. Consider it a form of social engineering, from a gaming perspective :).

The reason I decided to do these giveaways (apart from finding it amusing to make people franticly post a picture of a dog within 10 minutes) is that I moved to London recently in return for a significant pay raise. This place bleeds money out of you like you wouldn't believe. With the tube to work, the cost of lunch, increase in rent, I thought to myself, I could be buying a GOG every day and it wouldn't even show up on these costs. Now the pay raise covers the increased cost of living, but it also means that I can do these giveaways without any real impact.

Anyway, here's a code for Baldur's gate 2: 7MBJ-P3PE-VLMD-3YQT
Oh I do understand very well that you want to give away games that you find worth giving/playing. I also presume that, if the prices are truly the same all around the world as GOG claims, UK should be among the countries where they "feel" the lowest. I have never been in London and I only know about its history - not economy or social life. I am glad that you are feeling like you can afford to give all these things.
I also do understand the concept of high prices very well (we have around 25-30% inflation rate per year for food/transportation costs despite "official" numbers of total inflation rate being around 10-12%) . Another question is - whether they are covered with the salary. So I am glad, if you can manage well.
What I was saying was to simply point out there is a chance for you to put less stress on yourself with all the daily giveaways. But since you claim it is not a problem, I can only say that I am glad for you and thanks once again for all the gifts! (Still can not believe I actually won the first one I saw/entered only 30 hours after I registered here).
I also do agree that these giveaways are a form of social engineering - I mean look at me. I came to GOG, saw the prices here are considerably higher than on Steam (yes I DO want DRM-free games, the question is whether I can afford them). Than I won your giveaway, than I had a magnificent sudden gift from Dischord and I already feel more "tied" to this community. Is it good? I certainly think so. ;) In other words, your strategy certainly works.
Evening guys,

Sorry I missed out yesterday, was unwell, and literally got in from work and collapsed in bed. Anyway, I gave away 2 the day before, so I'm still on schedule.

LBA 1 today. A slightly cryptic clue, but to make up for yesterdays outage, you can have twice as long.

"The best died first, the extreme died second, who fought and won the day?"

20 minutes.

The best I guess you'd call heroes, the extreme would be considered the dedicated. Then the winners would be the common folk, too afraid to fight but without hope of escape. That's assuming that there's more than one group.
Interesting guesses, but I'm afraid that as with most of my giveaways, it's got a movie trivia angle to it.
normal and medicore survived?

But I don't watch movies. :(
Just another shot - coward(s)? I apparently have no clue about that movie...
Major general Meade?
Reckon it's going to go down to a giveaway here. The clue is in the characters' names.
