ONCE AGAIN FOR THOSE THAT CAN'T READ THE ONLY THING ON DISC IS A BADLY CLIPPING CHARACTER MODEL AND HIS IN MISSION BANTER

got that now? You don't get his mission (any vid showing his mission is a fake btw since I tested it myself by reinstalling ME3 without from ashes and went through the discs files)
With the DLC you get his mission, views of a world you won't see otherwise, a very nice AR, some extra scenes on citadel and some other nice features that AREN'T ESSENTIAL TO THE GAME.

::edit:: this is basicly like adding the beta version of kasumi back into ME2 (which you could do) you get her but not what actually made the DLC any good...

I have completed it twice once with from ashes and once with the flag I got very different interactions and nothing else from the DLC

Since it's Bioware, probably. People didn't seem to mind when Bethesda did the same thing. Then again, Fallout 3 had a much worse ending.

Whether the mission is on the disc or not isn't the point, its the fact that the character and more than just the character model is on the disc and the fact EA and Bioware are lying about the content being done after the main game went gold.

A BETA VERSION of the character and SOME of his audio is on disc it is all REPLACED when you install the DLC

So basically Bullshit.
He's basing his post on the fact art assets for a character which was stopped early in production were still in the game. BIG FUCKING WHOOP. You know why we leave assets there? Cause if they aren't breaking anything removing them JUST MIGHT so we leave them in place. The models etc are all EARLY VERSIONS from before he was removed from the game.

The DLC was announced the same day as the CE which was within a couple of weeks of feature look therefore the only people not expecting it were idiots...
