I went for all the games but the Tropico deal. I didn't think that was as good as the 75% ones and I missed it anyway. I like one-day deals being something special like 75% off. 60% off is too similar to the weekend deals imo.

usually it just 50% off and even that is usually enough to get people buying

My point was weekend deals are often 50% and last a few days. A one day sale should be special and 60% is almost the same as 50% so personally doesn't feel as special as 75% off. That's why I said 60% off is 'too similar' to weekend deals not identical.

While gog announced the promo earlier we all know what's the normal way if they don't post something the entire day - it can be scarier than the hours before a new gimmick will be released in an Apple Store! Do you want to comfort the suffering next time, do you really want to stand the untarned rage and anxiety the whole day ;-)
