Wow. That is incredible.

I imagine once they create a library of facial movement references, they won't even need people anymore except for voices.

which would the opposite of the LA Noire tech, where a voice actor would have to look the part too
The most impressive thing about this is that they're able to achieve those results in real time. No additional work required. So yes, the potential to apply a scaled down version to games is no mere pipe dream.

Yeah. Well, L.A. Noire is doing the best it can while keeping it affordable at $60. If they did this level of realism for the game, with that amazing level of facial movement, the game would cost $500 and come with as many Blu Ray discs as Final Fintasy XIII had for the 360.

And I'd totally buy it.

Not my kind of game. I will not pay the release price for sure, but maybe on a non distant future I´ll give it a try.
